General:
BIRTH: In Greenup Co. there is a Martha Horn, dau. of Frederick, who married Thomas Mosely. In 1805 census of Lawrence Co. Martha Mosely is listed with three children but no proof this is the same person.
According to Frances Mosley Collins Clark, gd of Martha, Martha died at the home of John and Susan Hobbs Mosley. In either Aug or Sep of 1887 or 1888 (depending on the birth year of Frances), Martha died when Susan was 8 mo. pregnant with Frances. 12
Partnership Notes (Jesse Crum Sr.)
Jesse (1) never married Martha , (a Horn?, not proven), but they had a child or children together, as stated by the marriage record of John Mosley and by my grandmother, d/o John Mosley. Perhaps that is where the confusion comes in.
Apparently my grandmother knew about her father being the son of Jesse (1) and Martha (Horn?) Mosley, but she did not tell me about it until I did some digging myself. So, Milton Crum is correct, as far as I know there was no marriage between Jesse and a Horn.
